Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the moderating role of proactive personality in the effect of organizational justice on voice behavior through psychological well-being. Research data were collected through a purposive sampling method from 527 employees working in the automotive sector in the Marmara Region, in Türkiye, using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using regression analysis. The findings of the study reveal that organizational justice has a significant and positive effect on employees’ voice behavior. Furthermore, psychological well-being plays a mediating role in this relationship. In addition, proactive personality moderates the relationship between psychological well-being and voice behavior. Finally, the indirect effect of organizational justice on voice behavior through psychological well-being differs significantly depending on the level of proactive personality, with this effect being stronger among individuals with high levels of proactive personality. These results indicate that enhancing employee voice behavior requires the integration of both psychological and personality-based resources.
