Abstract

[eng] One Household out of Six Receives Housing Subsidies . The region of the Ile de France draws limited amounts from property is financed either by specific or subsidized loan, the system of individual housing subsidies. Individual housing subsidies are predominant in the provinces, whereas rent allowance prevails in the Ile de France. In the Paris region, more than elsewhere, aid is more frequently given to single-parent households, households headed by a foreigner and households where only one of the spouses works. . For low-rental public housing, and when the purchase of From 1984 to 1988, the average subsidy increased much faster than income. However, the percentage of income devoted to housing, once the subsidies have been deducted, rose. This comes first from the considerable increase in rents and loan expenses during that period.
