Life cycle assessment and life cycle cost of buildings' insulation materials in Italy

Abstract

In the present paper the energy impact of buildings' insulation materials in Italy is analyzed, taking into account both the savings in the annual climatisation and the energy consumed to produce them (Life Cycle Assessment, LCA); furthermore the economic matter is evaluated in an investment analysis (Life Cycle Cost, LCC).
