The evolution of motivation models for creative workers: A comparative analysis of the practices of the USSR and modern Russia

Abstract

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the system of non-financial incentives and financial support for cultural workers through historical perspective. Based on a comparative approach, the features of motivational mechanisms in the USSR and modern Russia are explored. The theoretical part of the work reveals the economic nature of motivation for creative work, while the practical part examines the transformation of support tools in the context of changing socio-economic paradigms. Special attention is given to the interaction between state and non-state institutions in establishing an effective incentive system for creative professionals. It is concluded that an integrated approach is needed to build a motivation system that combines both intangible incentives related to self-fulfillment and recognition, as well as fair material compensation for work.
