Abstract

Con mayor frecuencia de lo que se piensa, la educación es destacada como la dinámica social mas importante para la transmisión del acumulado cultural de los pueblos; no obstante deba señalarse que tambien ha sido la educación- en ciertos contextos el elemento determinante de fenómenos de barbarie, pobreza y atraso hoy. Resulta inútil reincidir en los ataques a la universidad colombiana por su reiterado divorcio de la realidad nacional, por cuanto cada vez que se profundiza en el tema, el círculo de los culpables se va cerrando en torno a la misma comunidad universitaria.
