Abstract

There is a connection between educational, ethical responsibility and professional counseling aiming at personal and professional dignity of the future employee who is dedicated to the service of society on one hand, and on the other hand the academic institution where I work, the Police Academy which is the only higher education institution in Romania that trains experts for the operational departments of the Ministry of Administration and Interior. The students at the Police Academy have to choose their career path at the end of the first semester of their second year of study in fields such as forensics, information analysis, combating organized crime, economic fraud investigation, border police, penitentiaries, traffic police, public order and security.
