Bérek és munkaerőköltségek Magyarországon az EU-integráció tükrében

Abstract

A fejlettségi szintek alakulása, azok nemzetközi összehasonlítása mindig is komoly módszertani és gyakorlati korlátokba ütközött. A GDP egy főre jutó szintjével és az árszínvonallal kapcsolatos nemzetközi statisztikai elemzések, összehasonlítások igazolták, hogy a hetvenes, nyolcvanas években egyre jobban nőtt a kelet-európai országok leszakadása. Az elemzők ezt az időszakot a késleltetett stagnálás korszakának nevezték (ami korábban az adatok kozmetikázása miatt részben rejtve maradt). A mesterségesen létrehozott devizaárfolyamok is nehezítették az összehasonlító munkákat, mindenekelőtt a vásárlóerő-paritáson végzett vizsgálatokat. Az elmúlt években azonban egyre jobban bővül az a nemzetközi statisztikai adatbázis, amely lehetővé teszi Magyarország felzárkózási folyamatának nyomon követését. A tanulmány szerzői Magyarország EU-országoktól való lemaradásának mértékét elemzik, rámutatva arra is, hogy a tagországok fejlettségi szintjei, átlagbérei, bérköltségei az EU-n belül is - a végbemenő konvergenciafolyamatok ellenére - nagymértékben különböznek egymástól.
