Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Service in Macau: An Investigation from the Perspective of Stakeholders

Abstract

As an important role of wholesalers in pharmaceutical products circulation, wholesalers are experiencing dramatic change in Macao. The paper researched the functions and the management of pharmaceutical wholesalers at the stakeholders¡¯ view. According the questionnaires and interviews with pharmacists and physicians of pharmacies and hospitals, the paper analyzed the results showing the problems and suggestions for the internal and external management of wholesalers, which aimed to improve the service of wholesalers.
