İlk beş yüz imalat sanayi kuruluşunun etkinlik analizi ve sigma yakınsaması-Türkiye örneği: 1993-2000

Abstract

Etkinlik analizi yapılan çalışmalarda kullanılan yöntemlerden elde edilen sonuçlar bazı durumlarda negatif ve anlamlı korelasyona sahip çıkmaktadır. Bu ise hangi yöntemin kullanılacağını belirsiz kılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada karar kriteri olarak süreç testleri kullanılması çalışmayı benzerlerinden farklı kılmaktadır. Çalışmada bu testlerin sonucuna bağlı olarak Türkiye’de ilk beş yüz imalat sanayi kuruluşlarının etkinlik yapısının belirlenebilmesi için stokastik frontier analizinin kullanılmasına karar verilmiştir. Etkinsizliğin nedenlerinin belirleyebilmek için sektörel dışa açıklık, sektörel yoğunlaşma oranı, sektörel bağlantı katsayıları ve özel/kamu kukla açıklayıcı değişkenleri test edilmiştir. Daha sonra sektörel arası yakınsamanın olup olmadığı test edilmiş ve sektörler arası ıraksama bulunmuştur.
