Abstract

An automatic posture planning software is presented in this paper. The main function of this software is posture planning of the welding torch. This software is developed based on the programming platform SolidWorks API. The four components of the software are path generation module, posture generation module, posture adjustment module and date out put module. This software could supplement a posture planning function to ROBOGUIDE. Some planning experiments are executed to prove the validity of the software.
