Abstract

This study presents a descriptive, transversal research with non-experimental design on the diagnosis of the transparency of public institutions of higher education (IPES) in the Northwest of Mexico. The aim is to identify under the focus of the Federal law of transparency and access to government public information (LFTAIPG), the existence of significant differences between the transparency of the IPES and the type of subsystem to which they belong; to achieve this we worked with a sample of 21 universities and technological. In the gathering of data was used a template of 39 items whose reliability was determined through the Cronbach alpha, obtaining a 0.953 index. The results obtained indicate that the level of transparency, on average, of the Web pages of the IPES is very low and there are statistically significant differences in the transparency of the Web pages of universities and technological.
