Strategic Principles for Strengthening the Economic Security of Agricultural Enterprises

Abstract

To ensure continuous and effective development, the activities of agricultural enterprises should be based on determining the needs of the target market and consumer demand, analyzing and assessing current and future production conditions. However, today, the vast majority of agricultural enterprises do not have a clear system of strategic management of their economic security. In this regard, the purpose of the article is to develop strategic directions for strengthening the economic security of sugar beet subcomplex enterprises. The main strategies for increasing the economic security of agricultural enterprises were disclosed. Depending on the level of economic security of agricultural enterprises, it was proposed to introduce such basic types of strategies for their further development: survival, stabilization, development. The basis for choosing the strategy of enterprise development is the diagnosis of their economic security. The strategic directions of strengthening the economic security of agricultural enterprises were determined. The algorithm for the formation of economic security of agricultural enterprises was proposed. The principles of building the organizational and economic mechanism for the formation of economic security of agricultural enterprises were systematized. It was determined that the organizational and economic mechanism for the formation of economic security of agricultural enterprises engaged in the cultivation of sugar beets is a system of goals, principles, functions, methods, tools and activities that ensures the effective use of their corporate resources to achieve a high level of economic security, not only according to the needs of the economic entities, but also society as a whole. The analysis of the main threats of the sugar beet subcomplex development was carry out.
