Abstract

The goal of this paper is to determine the main factors constraining the process of internationalization of the Algerian economic public companies. Through a qualitative survey of key public enterprises of the Wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou, we attempt an analysis of the limitations of the internationalization process of these companies, even though they offer a significant potential for external growth. A review of the literature and a field study allowed us to review the internal and external obstacles reducing the prospects of internationalization of the Algerian public companies.
