¿Qué diferencia hacen las escuelas? Un estudio de métodos mixtos en colegios secundarios del Perú

Abstract

El estudio en el cual se basa este documento de política analiza qué factores se asocian con buenos resultados de los alumnos y alumnas de instituciones educativas (IE) secundarias públicas, a pesar de su condición socioeconómica adversa. Para ello, se usa un diseño de métodos mixtos que sigue un modelo explicativo secuencial, el cual permite explorar el efecto de diferentes tipos de variables escolares en el rendimiento de las y los estudiantes en Matemática y Lectura.
