Mercati e l?organizzazione dell?informazione locale: il caso della lombardia

Abstract

Nei mercati dell?informazione locale i diversi mezzi competono tra loro in modo pi? diretto di quanto avviene sul mercato nazionale. I mercati locali sono organizzati per lo pi? su base provinciale, mentre le politiche pubbliche avvengono su base regionale o nazionale. In Lombardia esiste un tessuto relativamente ricco di mezzi locali, grazie soprattutto a una fitta rete di quotidiani locali, ma in alcune province si verifica una dominanza forte del primo operatore. Si ? registrato uno sviluppo rilevante di siti informativi ma una parte di quelli rilevati ? costruita come presenza digitale di mezzi tradizionali e, in secondo luogo, nonostante l?assenza di barriere tecniche, si ? verificato un processo di concentrazione per cui in ogni mercato dopo il secondo, terzo sito le visite calano significativamente.
