La negociación colectiva laboral y el empleo de calidad

Abstract

Hay una conexión ineludible entre la declaración constitucional del derecho al trabajo y las políticas de empleo, que en muchas ocasiones ha difuminado la importancia que ocupa la negociación colectiva como espacio fundamental de regulación del trabajo en la consecución de un empleo decente y de calidad. El artículo desarrolla esta conexión entre regulación colectiva del trabajo y políticas públicas de empleo, destacando la importancia del incremento de la tasa de cobertura de los convenios y la relevancia de su función de dignificación de los salarios y del resto de condiciones laborales como condición de posibilidad de un empleo de calidad e instrumento especialmente adecuado para el diseño de una política de empleo bilateral y pactada.
