Análisis del Sistema Sanitario de Euskadi

Abstract

The aim of this article is the analysis of developments in the health system of the Basque Country since the beginning of autonomy up to the present time. To achieve this, a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the policies pursued both at the level of health goals and health management will be made, such as a report of legislative changes, organizational changes and health management, developed at different levels of care and its impact from the point of view of equity and efficiency too. Also a prospective anlysis will be developed, both a future challenges including the possible scenarios that are presented to the Health Sistem of Euskadi in the next decades, with a particular emphasis on the options for its adaptation and evolution with a sustainability target.
