Son on yildir pazarlamacilar, degisen pazar kosullari ve tuketici ihtiyaclari nedeniyle tuketicilerle daha cabuk ve daha hizli iletisim kurmak icin degisik pazarlama teknikleri arayisina girmislerdir. Bunun neticesinde dogrudan pazarlama genis bir kullanim alani bulmustur. Internet’in en kullanisli iletisim araclarindan biri haline gelmesiyle, dogrudan pazarlama tekniklerinden biri olan elektronik postayla pazarlama tuketicilerle iletisim kurmanin onemli bir metodu olmustur. Elektronik posta ile pazarlama etkili ve verimli bir sekilde tuketicilerle iletisim kurmaktadir. Elektronik posta ile pazarlama ile kisisellestirilmis, ilgili ve daha etkili mesajlar verebilmektedirler. Elektronik posta ile pazarlamanin kurallarina uyuldugunda basari kacinilmazdir.
