Absolute measurement of the thermal conductivity of helium and hydrogen

Abstract

The paper reports new, absolute measurements of the thermal conductivity of helium and normal hydrogen in the temperature range 35°C–155°C at pressures up to 10 MPa. The results reported have an estimated uncertainty of ±0.3% at the lowest temperature deteriorating to one of ±0.5% at the highest temperature.
