Abstract

This paper presents a new and improved one-dimensional sinusoidal chaotic system (I1DS). After experimental verification, its chaotic performance has a larger range of chaotic parameters, higher sensitivity and complexity than the classic chaotic system. Based on I1DS, we propose a new image encryption scheme. First, I1DS is used to generate chaotic sequences to improve the security of the encryption algorithm. Then, the image is subjected to a dynamic bit-shifting recombination operation. Finally, a non-linear diffusion strategy is used to perform a synchronous shuffling diffusion operation (SSDO) for the image. Each pixel of the diffusion operation is highly sensitive to the subtle differences of the previous operation's pixel value, key, and chaotic interference value. Simulation experiment shows that the encryption scheme has a good speed and effect, can resist various cryptanalysis and attacks, and has better security.
