Abstract

This systematic literature review delves into the involvement of traditional leaders in mitigating the pervasive issue of school violence within the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa. Findings from the reviewed studies underscore the prevalence of various forms of school-based violence. The review underscores the significant role that traditional leaders can play in addressing the issue of school violence. This study advocates for the meaningful involvement of traditional leaders in collaborative efforts aimed at curbing school violence and fostering safer learning environments.
