Abstract

The study presented in this article focuses on a specific approach: the skillsbased approach commonly referred to by the acronym APC. This research explores the application of APC in the Algerian context, with particular emphasis on the college level. It presents the perspectives of inspectors, collected through semistructured interviews, as well as those of teachers, obtained through a questionnaire, over two consecutive school years. At the same time, this study strives to grasp the complexity of the act of teaching and to illustrate the dynamics of the teaching-learning situation that teachers must face. The results highlight the relevance of APC and identify crucial factors likely to influence the success of this educational approach.
