Rückgang von Fahrleistung und Kraftstoffverbrauch im Jahr 2005, anhaltender Trend zum Diesel-Pkw

Abstract

Seit 1998 haben sich die Kraftstoffpreise nahezu verdoppelt. Bis zum Jahr 2004 haben die Kraftfahrer darauf nicht mit einer Reduktion der Fahrzeugnutzung reagiert, im vergangenen Jahr gab es aber deutliche Rückgänge bei der durchschnittlichen Fahrleistung je Pkw. Die gestiegenen Kraftstoffkosten werden nach wie vor überwiegend durch Einsparungen an anderer Stelle kompensiert, oder es wird versucht, die Kosten durch Nutzung alternativer Kraftstoffe (Bio-Diesel und -Ethanol, Erdgas, Flüssig gas) sowie durch häufi geres Tanken im preiswerteren Ausland zu mindern. Vor allem Vielfahrer setzen auch weiterhin auf den Wechsel zum Diesel- Pkw. Die Diskussion um die Feinstaubemissionen von Dieselmotoren zu Beginn des letzten Jahres hat sich nicht bleibend auf die Zulassungszahlen von Diesel- Pkw ausgewirkt, erneut ist der Bestand um 9 % gestiegen.
