Gute Position Deutschlands bei forschungs- und wissensintensiven Produkten gefährdet

Abstract

In den 90er Jahren hat die deutsche Wirtschaft bei forschungsintensiven Waren und wissensintensiven Dienstleistungen im internationalen Vergleich etwas an Boden verloren, insbesondere gegenüber den USA. Deutschland ist es im letzten Jahrzehnt weniger gut gelungen, die Potentiale an Humankapital, Wissenschaft, Forschung und Technologie auszubauen, in marktfähige Innovationen und damit in Wachstum und Beschäftigung umzusetzen und den innovativen Strukturwandel zu forcieren. Ohne eine neue Innovations- und Wachstumsdynamik werden sich die Ergebnisse weiter verschlechtern.
