Strukturwandel im Prozeß der deutschen Vereinigung: Kurzfassung der Strukturberichterstattung 1992 des DIW

Abstract

Zu den Aufgaben der Strukturberichterstattung gehört es, Entwicklungslinien und Ursachen des Strukturwandels, Wechselwirkungen zwischen struktureller und gesamtwirtschaftlicher Entwicklung, Wachstums- und Strukturwirkungen staatlicher Eingriffe, Probleme des Strukturwandels und der Strukturpolitik sowie Interdependenzen struktureller Anpassungsprozesse im nationalen Rahmen, innerhalb der EG und im weltweiten Zusammenhang darzustellen und zu analysieren. In seinem Strukturbericht 1992 hat das DIW versucht, diese Aspekte nicht nur für Westdeutschland, sondern - auf einer noch immer unsicheren Datengrundlage - auch für Ostdeutschland sowie im gesamtdeutschen Zusammenhang zu behandeln. Im folgenden werden einige Ergebnisse dieses Berichts in Kurzform präsentiert.
