Abstract

This paper presents the main ideas of Karl Popper exposed in the book "Objective Knowledge", places his approach of knowledge in the field of epistemology, and discusses the interest of his work for the management researcher. The analysis points out that: (1) Popper's epistemology helps to solve five methodological problems which management researchers, as others, have to deal with, (2) a "popperian" approach for management research is not inconceivable, without predjuging its superiority.
