Inequidad regional en la financiación de la salud en Colombia, 2008

Abstract

ResumenSe analizan las desigualdades regionales en materia de financiación del desarrollo social, particularmente la financiación de la salud, con el fin de formular recomendaciones de política. Se considera del ano 2002 al 2006, se analiza la población de los departamentos agrupados en las regiones Caribe, Central, Oriental, Pacífica, Nuevos Departamentos. Para el análisis de la información se toman como base los criterios de distribución de los recursos citados en la ley 715. El estudio muestra la consistencia de las afirmaciones que exponen la existencia de serias inequidades en la financiación de la salud en la región Caribe y Pacífica frente al promedio nacional.
