Los precios en la nueva síntesis neoclásica-keynesiana en macroeconomía

Abstract

Resumen: El objetivo de este texto es mostrar el papel que juegan los precios en la nueva síntesis neoclásica-keynesiana. Se muestra que aunque la nueva síntesis subraye la importancia de disponer de una teoría monetaria para recomendar políticas monetarias, ella ofrece esencialmente las mismas respuestas sobre el papel menor que juegan los precios en la macroeconomía estática; a pesar de ello, la nueva síntesis tiene el mérito de intentar regresar a las intuiciones pre-keynesianas de Wicksell, las cuales sí podrían contribuir a la búsqueda, no de mejores respuestas, sino de nuevas preguntas sobre los precios en una teoría monetaria
