Ley de Justicia y Paz, un balance de su primer lustro

Abstract

Resumen: El pasado 25 de julio de 2010, se cumplieron los primeros cinco anos de la Ley de Justicia y Paz. Para algunos, constituye un avance muy significativo en términos de justicia transicional; para otros, sólo promesas incumplidas. En este contexto, de no pocos cuestionamientos y reconocimientos, el presente artículo realiza un balance de la Ley en su primer lustro. Para ello, se destacan los aspectos centrales de los procesos de negociación de la paz en Colombia y se presenta un esquema general de los aspectos más significativos de la norma, así como de sus principales resultados. Finalmente, se exponen algunas de las críticas y retos que se plantean frente al proceso contemplado en la Ley 975 de 2005.
