Aproximación predictiva al riesgo crediticio comercial en empresas alimenticias ecuatorianas

Abstract

Este artículo tuvo como objetivo analizar la probabilidad de riesgo crediticio comercial de 650 empresas ecuatorianas del sector alimenticio, mediante un análisis estadístico de tipo inferencial e implementación de un modelo de regresión logística. En efecto, se convergió en tres hipótesis que indican que la liquidez, el tamano y la ubicación de la empresa influyen en la probabilidad de riesgo crediticio. Los resultados del modelo evidenciaron significativamente que las empresas ubicadas en la Sierra, grandes y con alta liquidez son las que mayor probabilidad de riesgo presentan; estas derivaciones proporcionan una aproximación predictiva del riesgo crediticio de las empresas alimenticias y una contribución a la discusión en espacios empresariales, académicos y científicos.
