Situation financière des agriculteurs: mieux comprendre en croisant les perspectives

Abstract

Alors que la majorité des études du revenu des agriculteurs en Suisse se focalisent sur le revenu disponible uniquement, cet ar-ticle souhaite explorer les pistes qu’offrirait une approche multiple qui associerait plusieurs méthodes quantitatives et qualitatives. Du point de vue quantitatif, la mesure directe des conditions de vie et les facteurs subjectifs de la pauvreté ouvrent de nouvelles pers-pectives. L’enquête qualitative de terrain, quant à elle, permet de mieux saisir les logiques économiques parallèles dans lesquelles se placent les individus. Construire une recherche en associant tout au long du processus ces diverses méthodes devrait per-mettre un dépassement des écueils habituels, en aboutissant à une compréhension globale de ces phénomènes sociaux.
