Empowerment, un análisis desde el perfil demográfico

Abstract

Las condiciones laborales de los docentes de las Instituciones de educación superior (IES) en México tienen características específicas que no son de ninguna manera equiparables con los del sector comercial, industrial o de otras empresas de servicios. Para los directivos y dueños las IES privadas es de suma importancia contar con información que les permita tomar decisiones, en torno a la calidad de los servicios que prestan los docentes que conforman su equipo de trabajo, para poder desarrollar al máximo su potencial. De ahí que es de suma importancia contar con un equipo de trabajo empoderado. En la presente comunicación se analiza como el perfil demográfico del docente, influye en la formación del empowerment a través de un análisis estadístico descriptivo, obteniendo que a excepción de la dimensión competencia, el resto de las dimensiones se ven impactadas en mayor o menor grado por el perfil demográfico del docente.
