Die ökologische und soziale Transformation: Mit Sozialunternehmen auf dem Weg in eine nachhaltige Zukunft

Abstract

Neben der technologischen hält auch die sozio-ökologische Transformation Einzug in die heutigen Wirtschaftssysteme. In diesem Zusammenhang gewinnt die Unternehmensform der Sozialunternehmen immer mehr an Bedeutung und Aufmerksamkeit. Sozialunternehmen verbinden unternehmerisches Handeln mit einem sozialen bzw. nachhaltigen Zweck. Neben ihrer sozialen und/oder ökologischen Mission verfolgen sie demnach auch ökonomische Ziele. Erwirtschaftete Gewinne werden hauptsächlich oder größtenteils zur Finanzierung des gesellschaftlichen Ziels verwendet. Diese duale Zielsetzung birgt sowohl Herausforderungen als auch neue Potenziale.
