Growing Importance of IT Service Providers

Author

Listed:
  • Nina Czernich

Abstract

While the business climate in the service sector overall is positive, the assessment of the business situation in the IT services sector is even better than average. One reason for this stronger performance is the change in the economy brought about by digitalization. Self-employed IT specialists play a major role in the industry. The regulatory challenges they face, in particular the problem of bogus self-employment, was the focus of the Service Sector forum at the Industry Colloquium 2019.
