Eurozone Reform – Discussion and Evaluation of Proposals

Abstract

The 18th Economists Panel conducted by ifo and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung surveyed professors of economics at German universities on several proposals to reform the Eurozone, as well as on the fiscal policy orientation of the planned EU and German federal budgets. Overall, it emerged that German economists are sceptical about these proposals.
