Kurz zum Klima: Unerwartet schnell fallende Preise für Wind- und Solarenergie – Hintergründe, Auswirkungen und Perspektiven

Abstract

Erneuerbare Energien spielen eine zunehmend wichtige Rolle im Energiesystem: 2016 betrug ihr Anteil am globalen Primärenergieverbrauch 9%, nachdem sie seit 2000 mit 4% pro Jahr doppelt so schnell wuchsen wie der Primärenergiebedarf. Die Geschwindigkeit und das Ausmaß dieses Wachstums übertrafen die Erwartungen aus Szenarien und Prognosen bei weitem. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die Entwicklung und skizziert die Erwartungen im Hinblick auf den Ausbau erneuerbarer Energien.
