Improving the Quality of Nursing Care

Abstract

Population ageing is a very important topic not only in Germany, but in many industrialised countries. This demographic development poses a major challenge to the nursing care system. This article offers an overview of various regulations in the nursing care sector in OECD countries, and highlights the implementation of various reforms to improve the quality of nursing care.
