Mehr Existenz sichernde Beschäftigung im Niedriglohnbereich

Abstract

Bei diesem Vorschlag wird das Niveau des Arbeitslosengeldes II nicht abgesenkt und auch kein größerer Workfare-Sektor eingerichtet. Die Autoren sprechen sich vielmehr für staatliche Zuschüsse zu den Arbeitnehmerbeiträgen zur Sozialversicherung aus. So sollen Einkommen bis zu 750 € (für Alleinstehende) und 1300 € (für Paare) pro Monat vollständig von Arbeitnehmerbeiträgen zur Sozialversicherung befreit werden. Die Arbeitgeberbeiträge müssen jedoch getragen werden. Außerdem sollen die Hinzuverdienstmöglichkeiten im Minijob-Bereich reduziert und Subventionen für andere atypische Erwerbsformen abgeschafft werden.
