Author

Abstract

According to the results of the Ifo Institute's survey of freelance architects, the business climate improved in nine Länder at the beginning of the first quarter of 2003 over the previous quarter. But it remained chilly nonetheless. Only 12% of the participants were satisfied with their current business situation, but scepticism concerning the business expectations for the next six months declined somewhat: one in ten survey participants (previous quarter: 7%) expect that their business situation will be "somewhat more favourable" in half a year.
