Eine kommunale Wohnungsbaugesellschaft für Dresden?

Abstract

Der Stadtrat der Landeshauptstadt Dresden hat im August 2015 beschlossen, eine neue kommunale Wohnungsgesellschaft zu gründen. In diesem Artikel wird diskutiert, ob die angeführten Gründe für das staatliche Eingreifen in den Wohnungsmarkt gerechtfertigt sind. Aus wissenschaftlicher Sicht gibt es keine Argumente dafür, dass die Stadt Dresden mit Hilfe einer kommunalen Wohnungsbaugesellschaft etwaige Spannungen am Wohnungsmarkt beseitigen sollte.
