Auswirkungen der Arbeitnehmerfreizügigkeit auf Ostdeutschland und Sachsen

Seit dem 1. Mai 2011 gilt auch für die mittel- und osteuropäischen Staaten, die 2004 neu zur Europäischen Union hinzukamen, die uneingeschränkte Arbeitnehmerfreizügigkeit innerhalb Europas. Die Bestandaufnahme der bereits in Deutschland beschäftigten Arbeitnehmer zeigt, dass lediglich 2,2 % aller Beschäftigten aus diesen Ländern in Sachsen arbeiten. Der überwiegende Teil (89,4 %) arbeitet in Westdeutschland. Eine Beispielrechnung für 100.000 neue Beschäftigte pro Jahr zeigt bei der Annahme, dass die Zuwanderung dem bisherigen Muster folgt, dass nach Sachen jedes Jahr lediglich 2.175 Menschen zuwandern. Es entstehen somit weder eine Bedrohung für die inländische Beschäftigung noch große Potenziale für neue Fachkräfte.
