Entwicklung von Wirtschaft und Arbeitsmarkt in Ostdeutschland und Sachsen 2007/2008

Abstract

Die ostdeutsche Wirtschaft befindet sich weiterhin auf Wachstumskurs. Der aktuellen ifo Dresden Konjunkturprognose zufolge ist das zwischen der Ostsee und dem Erzgebirge erzielte Bruttoinlandsprodukt im Jahr 2007 um 2,5% gestiegen. In Sachsen dürfte die Wirtschaftsleistung im vergangenen Jahr um 3,3% zugenommen haben. Im Jahr 2008 ist analog zum gesamtdeutschen Trend sowohl in Sachsen als auch in Ostdeutschland insgesamt mit einem im Vergleich zum Vorjahr niedrigeren Wirtschaftswachstum zu rechnen. Die seit nunmehr zwei Jahren feststellbare Entspannung auf dem Arbeitsmarkt dürfte sich allerdings weiter fortsetzen.
