Entwicklung von Wirtschaft und Arbeitsmarkt in Ostdeutschland und Sachsen 2007/2008

Abstract

Im Jahr 2006 ist die Wirtschaftsleistung in den ostdeutschen Bundesländern mit einem Zuwachs von 2,8% sehr kräftig gestiegen. Zur Jahresmitte 2007 lassen Indikatoren wie das ifo Geschäftsklima und der Umsatz im verarbeitenden Gewerbe erkennen, dass sich die ostdeutsche Wirtschaft noch immer in einer Phase kräftigen Wachstums befindet. Das preisbereinigte Bruttoinlandsprodukt Ostdeutschlands wird der aktuellen ifo Konjunkturprognose zufolge im Jahr 2007 um 2,6% und im Jahr 2008 um 2,3% zunehmen. Für das sächsische Bruttoinlandsprodukt wird in beiden Jahren ein mit 3,9% bzw. 3,4% überdurchschnittliches Wachstum prognostiziert. Die Lage auf dem Arbeitsmarkt dürfte sich infolge der günstigen konjunkturellen Entwicklung sowohl in Sachsen als auch in Ostdeutschland weiter entspannen.
