Abstract

The article explores the impact of digital transformation on strategic analysis processes, highlighting how digital technologies are revolutionizing strategic analysis to serve as a basis for planning and executing organizational strategies. The article also analyzes the differences between American and European firms regarding technological advancement in the field of strategic analysis. The digitalization of strategic management analysis represents a key transformation for firms in the European Union (EU), integrating technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing and big data analytics to improve real-time access to data, predictive analytics and decision-making agility. Recent research, including the EU Digital Decade 2025 report, highlights a significant gap in the adoption of these technologies between the US (60% cloud, massive AI adoption) and the EU (41% cloud, low investment in AI), which affects European IT productivity (1.7% annually vs. 3.5% in the US).
