Abstract

We provide an empirical analysis of job mobility with heterogeneous firms and employees. Inference is Bayesian. The results indicate an unobserved heterogeneity at the level of the individuals, and even more influential at the firm level. Furthermore, assortative employers? and employees? unobservables have a non-negligible impact on matching. Classification JEL : C110, C150, C410, J200, J410.
