Abstract

This article describes the specific achievement of regional development policy in the Republic of Moldova. The implementation of regional development policies in the Republic of Moldova is a relatively new field. Since the 1990s, under the aegis of the ministries responsible for economic policies, public policies have been implemented aimed at the balanced development of the country's regions, but only at the end of 2009, the regional development process was stimulated by institutionalizing the instruments for implementing the regional development objectives.
