The aim of the research is to present the philosophy of managing quality in hotels. The purpose of the paper is to highlight the impact of globalization trends in the view of total quality management. Considering the fact that modern tourism makes up ten percent of the total world GDP, the trends in growth in tourism are noticeable. As tourism is one of the main drivers of economic activity on the global level, and the framework of tourism is created by hotel systems, the need for research such as the one presented in this paper is ever more necessary.
