Muhasebe Alanında Teknoloji Kullanımının Öğrenciler Üzerindeki Etkileri

Abstract

Globalleşen dünya ve gün geçtikçe bilgi teknolojilerinin hayatın her alanına özellikle iş alanlarına dahil olması iş süreçlerinin değişimine, gelişimine olanak sağlamıştır. Teknolojik olanakların artması ve değişimlerin muhasebe alanına yansıması öğrenme süreç ve tekniklerinin değişimi, bilgi teknolojilerinin bu alanda daha etkili olarak kullanılmasını zorunlu kılmıştır. Muhasebe alanının güncel durumlara göre ihtiyaç duyduğu teknolojinin kullanımı ile geçmişteki klasik ve geleneksel yöntemlerin karşılaştırılması, öğrencilerin değişen koşullara karşı düşüncelerini etkilemektedir. Muhasebe; yöneticilerin karar alma ve kontrol fonksiyonlarına yardımcı olmasının yanı sıra geleceğin planlanması için gerekli bilgileri bu sistem sayesinde oluşturmaktadır. Bu sistem bilgi teknolojilerinin hızla gelişmesi, verilerin kayda alınması ve raporlanması ile kısa zamanda çok hızlı ve etkin bir şekilde yapılabilir hale gelmesi, süreci olumlu yönde etkilemiştir. Muhasebe dünyasının ihtiyaç duyduğu hem güncel bilgilerle donatılmış hem de o alandaki teknolojiye hakim meslek elemanlarının yetiştirilmesi adına geleneksel eğitim yöntemlerinin teknoloji kullanımı ile desteklenmesi ve pekiştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Çalışmada muhasebe eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin teknolojiye yatkınlıkları ve bu alana bakış açıları test edilmiştir. Çalışmamız Fırat Üniversitesi ve İnönü Üniversitesi İ.İ.B.F öğrencileri üzerinde yüz yüze anket uygulaması ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sonuçları istatistiksel yöntemlerle değerlendirilerek sunulmaya çalışılmıştır.
