Kadın Girişimcilerin Ekonomik Sorunları ve Finansal Okuryazarlığın Önemi

Abstract

İşletme kurma fikri ile başlayan girişimcilik sürecinde finansal durum ve ülkenin ekonomik ortamının kestirilebilmesi oldukça önemlidir. Girişimci olmak isteyen ve gerekli niteliklere sahip pek çok kadının yetersiz finansal koşullar nedeniyle sahaya çıkamaması söz konusudur. Bu engeli aşarak kendi işletmelerini kurabilen kadın girişimciler için yine ekonomik sorunlar sınırlayıcı bir unsur olmaktadır. Ekonomik açıdan yaşanan sorunlar girişimcilikte bu denli dikkat çekerken kadın girişimcilerin finansal okuryazarlık açısından eksikliklerinin olması da rekabet açısından olumsuz bir tablo oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, demografik değişkenler dahil 28 soruluk bir ölçek kullanılmıştır ve ölçekler TR71 Düzey 2 Bölgesinde (Aksaray, Kırıkkale, Kırşehir, Niğde ve Nevşehir) bulunan ve "Ticaret ve Sanayi Odaları"na (TSO) kayıtlı 342 kadın girişime uygulanmıştır. Çalışmamızda, kadın girişimcilerin deneyimlerine odaklanarak karşılaştıkları engeller demografik değişkenlere göre ekonomik sorunlar bağlamında değerlendirilerek finansal okuryazarlığın önemine vurgu yapılmaya çalışılmıştır.
