Duygusal Zekâ Mesleki Stres İlişkisinin Duygusal Emeğin Aracılık Etkisi Bağlamında Okunması: Elazığ Sağlık Çalışanları Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı duygusal zekâ ve mesleki stres ilişkisinde duygusal emeğin aracılık rolü olduğu yönündeki temel iddiaya deneysel kanıt sağlamak şeklinde belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın ana kütlesini Elazığ İl Merkezi’nde yer alan kamuya ait hastanelerin çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Bu hastanelerde toplam 3077 sağlık çalışanı istihdam edilmektedir. Çalışmanın verileri, anket yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Duygusal zekâ, duygusal emek ve mesleki stres ölçekleri, 5’li likert sistemine göre derecelendirilmiştir. Değerlendirilen anket sayısı ise 469’dur. Araştırma bulguları, duygusal emeğin, duygusal zekânın mesleki stres üzerindeki etkilerine aracılık ettiğini ve bu etkinin kısmi düzeyde kaldığını göstermektedir. Aracılık etkisini test eden modelin etki büyüklüğü (r2) %25’tir. Bunun %4’ünü dolaylı etki ve %21’ini ise doğrudan etki oluşturmaktadır.
